ESPEN is now affiliated with UEG!
Good news! At the occasion of the 25 th UEG Congress ( Barcelona/13 000 attendees) ESPEN is becoming the 17th scientific society or organisation to be affiliated with UEG.UEG ( United European Gastroenterology) is a huge organisation playing the role of a platform to join all the societies that are involved in the field of Gastroenterology. ESPGHAN was already an UEG member.
We are convinced that our participation to UEG will contribute to the promotion of the nutrition field in the domain of gastroenterology. The UEG President -Prof Michael Manns- did welcome André Van Gossum, Stephane Schneider and Stephan Bischoff who were representing ESPEN.
The 24th ESPEN Course on Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism

All 65 delegetes higlhy appreciated the quality of the presentations throughout the 6 days and additionally had the opportunity to participate at 2 LLL's.
A big "Thank you" goes to a total of 28 ESPEN and local speakers who took part at the event and enormously helped in achieving this success.
Overall, the atmosphere was excellent and both participants and speakers were satisfied with the positive result.
