TRAVELLING TO NICE

By air

Nice Airport (airport code NCE) is 7 km (4.35 miles) from the city centre of Nice. A taxi takes 15-20 minutes depending on the traffic for a fare of 20-30 Euros.

By rail

The SNCF (French National Railway Company) provides 11 regular connections from abroad and 20 daily connections with the largest cities in France. The T.G.V. (high-speed train) links Paris to Nice in 6 1/2 hours. Direct daily connections: 4 to 5 in summer, 2 in winter. A "car-train" service is available between major French cities: vehicles are conveyed at the same time as their owners, who travel in "couchettes".

Bus connections

Nice Airport Line buses can be taken to and from the centre of Nice (Gare SNCF / Gare routière).

  • Urban Bus n° 23: Airport /SNCF Rail station, departures from Terminal 1 every 30 minutes, between 6am and 9pm. Price: 1,30 Euros one way. Duration 20-25 minutes.
  • Direct bus: n° 98: Airport/Gare routière (Coach Station, near the Old Town), departure from Terminal 1 or 2 every 20 minutes between 6am and 12am. Price: 4 Euros one way. Duration 40 minutes.
  • Free Shuttle bus from Terminal 1 to Terminal 2.

FREE PUBLIC TRANSPORT PASS

All delegates and accompanying persons are offered a public transport pass. To receive your pass please exchange your “transportation voucher” for the pass at the Bag & Transportation pass delivery desk within the Registration area.
