Excursions

Excursions will be confirmed if a minimum of 15 or 20 participants (depending on the tour) is met. Full refunds will be made if an activity is cancelled due to a lack of participants.
Meeting point for all tours: in front of the Excursions Desk located in the Registration area, at the Acropolis Congress and Exhibition Centre.

Half day – walking tour

NICE OLD TOWN
Walking tour of the French Riviera Capital including the discovery of the Massena Square with characteristic and colourful Italian architecture, the Albert the First Gardens, and, of course, the old town. The old district of Nice known as "Vieux-Nice" is very Italian and bears witness to Nice's long past as a part of Italy.

On the Cours Saleya, you will discover a picturesque flower market, a maze of narrow streets full of little shops, bistros, Baroque churches and mansions.

On Mondays, antiques market.

SAINT-PAUL DE VENCENot far from Nice, in the nearby hinterland, is the charming village of Saint-Paul de Vence, fortified in the 16thC to defend the border. Incredibly well preserved, the village shelters, nowadays, a community of artists and artisans, known and unknown, spread out all along the medieval streets and city walls. A paradise for exclusive shoppers.

MONACO - ÈZE

Monaco

Start with a visit of the amazing village of Eze built on a rocky promontory overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, and visit its small, quaint, cobblestoned streets, full of craftsmen’s boutiques.
Continue to the Principality of Monaco, the second smallest country in the world after Vatican City. Walk through the narrow streets of the old town to the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception where the Princes and Princesses of Monaco are buried (including Grace), and then to the Palace square dominated by the residence of Prince Albert II. Witness the changing of the guards which takes place at 11:55 sharp everyday. After lunch, continue to the Casino square.
