A warm welcome from The Hague
With the most historic sites per square meter in the Netherlands, The Hague oozes culture and history.
This city has a prominent place in both Europe and the world. The Hague is the international city of peace and justice and the third largest city in the Netherlands. It is also the official seat of the Crown and government, home to hundreds of international organizations and multinationals and one of the world’s top three UN cities.
Visit The Hague monuments such as the Binnenhof, Noordeinde Palace, and the Peace Palace. Discover Holland’s highlights and heritage in miniature at Madurodam.
Make the acquaintance of “The Girl with a Pearl Earring” by Vermeer, “The Goldfinch” by Fabritius and “The Anatomy Lesson” by Rembrandt in the Mauritshuis. Step through the famous entry gate into the historical Binnenhof (Inner Court) in the heart of our democracy.
To be found nearby the fisherman’s village Scheveningen (try to pronounce this right!) has lovely sandy beaches to enjoy the end of summer.
The Hague is in the middle of most of the large cities of the Netherlands: Rotterdam and Amsterdam 30 minutes by train.
